About Me
Martin
Having been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis aged 33, I lived with the illness for nearly 4 years before surgery became my only real option. Number Twos covers my experiences from my initial diagnosis to my recent colostomy.

Someone somewhere for some reason kindly reviewed Number Twos
“This is one of my favorite ulcerative colitis blogs because it combines sardonic wit with clinical honesty and emotional impact, something you don't frequently find on the Internet. Author Martin uses phrases such as "Not even teenage girls spend as much time in the bathroom as I do" to connect with his readers, and also presents a regular account of his regimen on medication for UC.
Unfortunately, many ulcerative colitis blogs sugar-coat the truth, but this isn't the case with Number Twos. If you've just been diagnosed, you might want to segue into such honesty with something a little lighter, but for veteran UC sufferers, it is truly a breath of fresh air.”
